Welcome to the website of the International Society for Socratic Studies.
The Society aims the promotion of Socratic studies throughout the world and communication between scholars from diverse disciplines, and using a variety of approaches and methods. We organize the Socratica conferences normally every three years and we promote the publication of books and series on Socrates.

Milkshake Fest wordt gehouden in Amsterdam in de laatste week van juli. Het stimuleert zelfexpressie aan en brengt mensen met uiteenlopende meningen. Het concept werd populair dat verschillende landen het hebben overgenomen. De headliners van Milkshake Festival in Nederland in meerdere jaren waren Christal Empire, Fat Tony, Shady Lady. Het entertainmentprogramma bestaat uit concerten, toneelstukken en dansvoorstellingen. Gedurende de dagen van het van het festival bestaat er een camping op het festivalterrein.
